Virtual Pants

I'm feeling very sorry for myself today as I waved the parentals off yesterday - back to Australia they go. It has been a fantastic two months of lots of travelling and good fun - we finished their trip in the Highlands of Scotland which was just incredible.

During all of this I was trying (via some dodgy internet sites) to arrange a few dates so I would have something interesting/amusing to blog about and something very strange happened. It turns out that two of the guys I was 'chatting' to had actually dated one another previously. Both of them got very pissed off with me for 'cheating' on them - um, hello - we haven't actually met (!?!?) and so both of those dates went down the drain. Which is fine by me - apart from the fact that it is potentially 2 good dating stories I've now lost!

One of the guys actually sent me a message saying 'you've been caught with your virtual pants down buddy'. I mean, really. Puh-lease.

another Oz called Ziggy??? We need to find him and destroy him. Oops. Did I just say that out loud? Must be too hot...

Don't worry about the parentals, TM - next time, huh?

Oh those stupid fucking poofs!

I had a similar thing occur twice, actually. I befriended a man online and stayed round his house (this was years ago) and in his bed (he 'accidentally' made me miss the last tube) but I refused to remove all my clothes as he was a bit too repellant and bitter about a previous relationship gone wrong for my tastes. He insisted on lending me something I didn't want to borrow so I had to see him again...

Fast forward a few months and I am dating a man who owns a random book that he was lent by an Awful Man but never returned it. Snap! Same scary man!

Fast forward again to six years ago and I have been with Future Husband a month or so. And who pops up on his MSN? Yes, that awful man again! Turns out Future Husband is the very same ex that made Awful Man so bitter.

And I am so not a slag! These gays get everywhere, like sand aftetr the beach.

dan... you are a funny man indeedy!

And there you have your post Ziggy! I had to read it to the Loverboy and he has been laughing about it... what freaking weirdos!

Sorry about the parentals leaving! I say you need a vacation from all your vacationing... hmmm... how does Malaga grab you? Well, on the other hand it'll make you be happy to live anywhere but here... ha, ha, haaa!

Besos to one hip Zigster...

That's funny because it's true!

But seriously, Zig, don't pimp yourself out so you'll have something interesting to blog about... Personally, my virtual pants don't go down until I've been given a virtual dinner and a movie.

Dabich - I'm up and down on that one... will keep you informed.

Dan - honestly, it scared me. I really don't like the whole idea that the gay scene here may as well be as small and incestuous as where I grew up! bloody poofs indeed.

MizBoho - can you believe these freaks!? I mean, 'virtual pants'?!? what is that?! and yes... I do need a holiday from my holidays so watch out...

Anhoni - I don't actually have a type - these guys were completely different - and off two different websites! Bizarro. Oh, and the Highlands were absolutely amazing - prehistoric really. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I might post some photos to show you... ps. how's the novel going? Good to 'see' you!

Promises, promises Ryan. I'll email you ;-)

You're so right, Saviour - why am I pimping myself out? Probably because it's fun... oops. Thanks for the tip though - from now on it's at least a virtual dinner first!!
