Ziggy Published

Oh... my friend living in Tokyo recently sent me a scanned image of the offending photo in 'Gentry' - the fashion magazine for Japanese men over the age of 40. See here for my previous post about this.

Here I am in all my glory:

Yes, yes. Fashion inspiration for Japanese men over the age of 40.

Come on, Ziggy, we both know how daring and adventurous the over 40 Japanese man is when it comes to all things sartorial!

Can't believe I'm living with a supermodel. Actually, I can.

Two supermodels in one locale. When may I move in? Gentlemen prefer blonds springs to mind... and the fact that Lauren, the non-blond for those not in the know, seemed to find them all.

Does the Z slashed on your face stand for Zorro? LOL

*love* the scarf Zigs. It practically exudes the essence of every 40 (and over)-year old Japanese man.

Ziggy you are the style icon I always knew you could be (since your last post about this).

I thought the Z was creative way to sign your picture :)

Wow, if you leave me comments on fashion advice it will be like Queer Eye for the Staight Guy. (Do you have that show in England or did that joke fall flat?)

aw shucks, thanks guys...you're all making me blush.

especially your comment Scribe. After all, I am a huge Doctor Who fan.

Running42k, we did have a UK version of Queer Eye here, in addition to the US version. The joke worked here too. Athough many people felt the US version superior.

ps. Scribe... I think the scarf is more 'Cat in the Hat' than Doctor Who actually...

Nice one baby, nice one!! Just to let you all know, yes, there are scarfs like that here in Nippon, although I've never seen one adorned on a gent over 40!!! BTW, can I use that photo on my blog (don't worry it's in Japanese, so can I use your face, or mosaic it out, like all the porn here?!?!?!)

Dr. Who rules!!! Who was your favorite?

ziggystardust73 said...

without doubt... Tom Baker. Yes, the one and only. AND he wore that fabulous scarf. And had fantastic hair. And had K9. Yes, the DOCTOR ROCKS.

scribe said...

Hmmm. Baker was good, but I like Davidson better.
