Tag, I'm IT

Right. Much like playing chasey in school, Blog Crack has tagged me, and therefore I'm IT.

Apparently me being 'IT' means that I have to reveal 5 things my fellow bloggers don't know about me. Here they are:

1. I was a professional ballroom dancer. Yes, in the style of 'Strictly Come Dancing' I started competing in Ballroom and Latin American dancing competitions from the age of 4 (no, really). I now only do the occasional class for fun in London and my muscles scream in agony as a result.

2. I'm starting a degree in psychology in February next year. It will be my second degree, as I made stupid choices the first time around. I'm very excited about it and will start psycho-analysing all of you in the process.

3. I once went to a clairvoyant who mentioned 29 names during the course of the 'reading', and the context in which I either knew these people, or would do. I knew 26 of them, and the other 3 I met the following week.

4. I used to tell all my childhood/adolescent secrets to my cat, who was given to me on my 7th birthday and died when I was 24. I used to whisper the secrets in his ear and then feel better because I had told him. He never told anyone else my secrets.

5. I once snubbed Kylie Minogue in a nightclub, when a friend introduced her as 'a fellow antipodean'.

He has never let me forget this.

I also made stupid choices when I got my first degree. I'm glad I grew up and go a second one.

Did you mean to snub Kylie?

I definitely made stupid choices. But have I grown up? That's another question.

No, I didn't mean to snub Kylie. I was completely wasted and didn't recognise her in the slightest!

YOU WERE A professional BALLROOM DANCER??!! Wow. That is so cool Ziggy. I'm so impressed. wow.

Are you still going to work while attending school? Yeah, all my schooling geared me towards being a CIA agent and now I'm a writer -- go figure. 3.5 years of Arabic for nothing.

I loved the story about your cat. mrow. You SNUBBED Kylie? You go girl.

Don't you hate that Anhoni? All that work to reach a decision you want to do something completely different. Oh well. Yeah, I'm going to continue working and study 'externally'. Which should be interesting given how little self control I have.

and my little cat took so many secrets of mine to the grave with him....

I've studied Psychology, I think its one of the most interesting and enjoyable parts of my entire education. Ever!

And I've always wanted to dance like that from the first time I saw Queer as Folk (US) and the two guys were dancing together. Now whenever I see ballroom dancing on Tv or wherever I wish I could do it too!

DM... I agree re. Psych and there is nothing stopping you learning how to dance.... go for it!

Snubbing Kylie Mingue gives you 10 cool point, my friend. I hate that plastic bitch.

dabich, it may look sensual but when you're actually doing it, it sure doesn't feel it! still, it is beautiful to watch.

scribe, I love Kylie. So you may have given me the cool points for snubbing her, but, in fact, I am going to automatically deduct those from my tally again. I'm gay remember. Therefore, Kylie is a GOD.

Damn I hate gay loopholes!!! LOL
